The Etowah County Coroner confirms that a 17-year-old Gadsden High School student who was shot on Friday night will not survive his injuries.
The teenager has been identified as 17-year-old Anthony Hale. Authorities confirm Hale and two other people were shot on Friday night near the intersection of 7th Street and Broad in Gadsden.
Hale’s family made the decision to donate his organs so the teen will remain on life support long enough for that to happen.
The two other people shot have not yet been identified, nor are their conditions currently available.
People living at Daugette Towers said the shooting happened outside of Club Stratus. Authorities continue their investigation.
