Tracy Morgan, Deputy J. O. Commissioner of USA Softball of Alabama would like to thank all the teams that participated in the 1st annual USA Softball of Alabama Mother’s Day Classic Rec tournament held at the Centre Softball Complex in Centre over the weekend
Teams from White Plains, Piedmont, Centre, Southside, Hokes Bluff, Huntsville and Lyerly, Georgia entered, ranging from 8and under to 12 and under. 8u Champions went to Coosa Valley Elite from Southside, 10 and under
Champions Dirt Dawgs out of Lyerly and the 12 and under Champions went to Chris Abernathy and his Cherokee Tigers team.
A special thank you goes to Frog West for working so hard to get the fields ready to make this tournament possible and to Centre Parks and Rec. Department Director Charles Glazner for the use of the facility and treating our staff and umpires with such kindness.
