Apparently a diagnosis of drunk and disorderly was what led to the removal of a somewhat rowdy resident of Summerville from Redmond Regional, to the more appropriate confirms of the county jail on Sunday night. Floyd County law enforcement officials were dispatched to the scene after 21 year old Jonathan Keith Blackmon reportedly became unruly, and then started cursing at staff members.
Officers found him to be heavily intoxicated and he refused to leave when asked; when they attempted to remove him from the facility he continuously pulled away and at that point he was placed under arrest.
Blackmon was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunk and with Obstruction of Law Enforcement Officials.
