Alabama Man Arrested on a Felony Charge of Identity Fraud in Rome, Georgia

An Alabama man has been jailed on a felony charge of Identity Fraud in northwest Georgia.

28 year old Etowah County resident J.D. Trammell III of Attalla – stands accused of trying to use someone else’s driver’s license to identify himself and for giving false name and date of birth to a police officer. 

He was additionally charged with giving false information to a law enforcement official, the possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, driving without a license, having suspended registration, no insurance, driving without headlights and DUI.

He was arrested on Monday morning at East 12th Street and Dean Avenue, and transported to jail.
