Alabama State Troopers worked three separate accidents with injuries over the weekend in Cherokee County.

A 44 year old Piedmont man was injured on Friday morning when the 1998 Honda he was driving overturned near Spring Garden School; the report indicated that Christopher Crider, who was briefly trapped inside the vehicle, received only minor injuries. 

The report showed that he was wearing his seatbelt.

The Spring Garden Fire Department and Piedmont Rescue also responded to the scene.

A 16 year old Gaylesville resident was air-lifted to an area trauma center following a single- vehicle rollover taking place just after midnight Friday.

That mishap occurred on County Road 41, when a 2005 GMC driven by Katelyn Langley left the roadway and overturned down a small embankment.

Langley was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Cherokee County Rescue Squad.  She was transported from the scene to a landing zone, at the intersection of County Road 41 and 114.  The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report indicated that Langley was wearing a seatbelt at the time the accident occurred.

The Gaylesville Fire Department and Cherokee EMS also responded to the scene.

A single-vehicle accident Sunday morning resulted in a Cedar Bluff man being injured.  That report listed 21 year old Nicholas Combs, in a 2010 Chevrolet, as being hurt in the mishap.

The wreck took place on County Road 26 approximately a mile west of Centre at 6:00am.

Combs was reportedly wearing his seatbelt at the time.
