All Roads Lead to Rome – Cocaine Leads to Jail

FCSO - LongAn Alabama man found accommodations in Rome, after being pulled over for failure to maintain a single lane; well, that and then there was the suspected cocaine in his pocket.

30 year old Birmingham resident Frank Morey Long was pulled over by Rome Police after being observed swerving over the white line on Shorter Avenue Sunday evening.

During the traffic stop it was determined that Long was driving on a suspended license, and upon further investigation, they found what appeared to be cocaine in a small pouch in his shirt pocket.

He was charged with felony possession of cocaine, driving on a suspended license, and improper lane change.
