Altercation at Redmond Regional Lands Rome Resident Behind Bars

AtkinsAn altercation at Redmond Regional in Floyd County, has resulted in the arrest of a 25 year old Rome resident.

According to reports Christopher Robert Atkins allegedly argued with and cursed at several people in a waiting room before inviting them to “come outside for a fight.”

Police say during the arrest while searching him they found what appeared to be suspected methamphetamine along with other drugs and drug items.

Atkins has been charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and with unlawful possession of dangerous drugs, in addition to drugs not kept in their original container, the possession of drug-related objects and disorderly conduct.
