Amber Faye Shaw

Amber Faye Shaw, age 68 of Centre, passed away Wednesday, January 18th at her residence.

Funeral services will be 2:PM Saturday, January 21st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Melvyn Salter and Matt Rose officiating; The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:PM Saturday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Chris Cantrell, James Anderson, Jr., Bob Heartsaw, Richard Barnhill, Timmothy Truett, Christopher Storey.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Wade Shaw; son, James (Gwendolyn) Shepard, Jr. of Anniston; daughter, Kimberly Ann ( Chris)Cantrell of Centre; brothers, Sylven Johnson of Anniston; grandchildren, Brittany Storey, Christopher Storey, Nicole Cantrell, Whitney Shepard, Tori Shepard, Lauren Shepard, James Shepard, Maryella Shepard, Tristan Shepard, Shelby Shepard; great grandchildren, Alexis Warren, Brynlee Bolton, Ella Shepard; special niece, Ellen (Bob) Hartsaw.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Cecil, Leonard, Spencer and Fred Johnson; sisters, Mildred Baber, Jane Pierce, Joan Barnhill.
Mrs. Shaw was a native of Anniston, the daughter of the late, Eugene Leonard and Annie Mae Bowen Johnson, was retired from Froot of the Loom and was of the Baptist faith.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or the family will accept flowers.

Also, the family would like to send out a special thanks and appreciation to all staff of Amedisys Hospice, those who are not limited to but especially her nurse Hannah Turner, her aide, Elizabeth Sprayberry, her Chaplain, Matt Rose and her guardian sent angel, Jay Beggs.
