iStock/Thinkstock(AUCKLAND, New Zealand) — At least seven people were killed after the fishing vessel they were onboard capsized Saturday in New Zealand’s Kaipara Harbour.
Three of eleven people on the boat survived the incident, according to BBC, and one person was still missing.
The vessel capsized in rough seas and poor weather conditions with wind gusts of up to 31 miles per hour and 3-foot swells, BBC reports.
Officials were investigating the cause of the incident.
