An Attalla man has been arrested in connection to theft of property and another is being sought.
According to Etowah County Investigator Adam Chapman, 46 year old Christopher George Salster was arrested and charged with one count of second degree theft of property, which is a felony.
Salster along with 28 year old Thomas Riley Thacker, Jr. of Gadsden allegedly stole a large utility trailer from property on Simmons Lane, Attalla, and hid it behind a residence on Whites Chapel Road, Gadsden. The trailer was recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Investigators are searching for Thacker, Jr. who is also wanted on a theft of property warrant.
Salster was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $2,500 bond.
