An Attalla man remains behind bars, following his arrest on a sexual abuse charge earlier in the week.
Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin says 55 year old David Allen Johnson faces charges of Sexual Abuse of a Child under the age of 12, following his arrest on Tuesday.
Investigators say Johnson had sexual contact with an eight year old male victim. He’s being held on a cash bond of $50,000. As a condition of that bond, Johnson will be supervised by Etowah County Community Corrections, and is prohibited from having any contact with the victim and the victim’s family, and furthermore must have no contact with anyone less than 18 years of age.
