Etowah County authorities have arrested a Boaz woman for allegedly making a terroristic threat toward an area school and faculty member.

39 year old Barbara Beth Bowen reportedly posted that statement to a social media site on Thursday (January 15th); later that day, she admitted to investigators that she was the one who had made the statement and then posted it.

Chief Deputy Michael Barton said that School Resource Officer Deputy Glenn Cline had been made aware of the situation and within a matter of hours the threat was dissolved.

Bowen was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center, and has a property bond set at $2,500.
