BREAKING NEWS| Coroner’s Office Confirms Body Recovered From Weiss Lake Is That Of Bobby Shore

The Cherokee County Coroner’s Office has positively identified a body recovered from Weiss Lake on Wednesday afternoon.

Cherokee County Coroner Dr. Jeremy Deaton tells us more –

Rescue Personnel from a number of agencies have been combing the waters near the powerhouse for some 86 days, on Wednesday Cherokee County 9-1-1 received a call from a fisherman stating that he had found a body floating in the water near Aubrey’s Island. Members of the Cherokee County Rescue Squad, Cherokee EMS, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators, Cherokee County Coroner Dr. Jeremy Deaton, Leesburg Police and Alabama Marine Police responded to the scene.

The bodies of Robert Hardin, Dale Steven Keener, Christy Hobson and Cheryl Hobson, were recovered at the time of the accident however the body of Bobby Shore was never found.
