The Broncos say Kubiak, 55, was taken to the hospital with flu-like symptoms.
Team officials say he felt ill during the game but remained on the sidelines through all four quarters and even did his post-game news conference with reporters. However, Kubiak continued to not feel well and was admitted as a precaution.
Kubiak remains in the hospital and is feeling better, a team official told ESPN Monday.
It is not yet clear if he will be able to coach the Broncos’ next game, scheduled for Thursday against the San Diego Chargers.
