ABC News Radio(NEW YORK) — While fans bite their nails in anticipation to see who Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan went to bat for — literally — in the closing moments of season six of The Walking Dead, let’s hope their hands are clean. And what better way to do that than with soap celebrating The Walking Dead?
Creator Denise Mancuso and her family at AJSweetSoap are true TWD fans, and as such have crafted a line of clever soaps to celebrate AMC’s runaway hit. Available are severed “ears” reminiscent of the walker trophies strung together by Daryl Dixon on the show: his real-life alter-ego Norman Reedus even happily posed with the unique take on “Soap on a Rope” — at a fan convention.
Other products offered are soaps shaped like Negan’s barbed wire-covered, hero bashing bat Lucille, as well as photos of scenes and lines of dialog from the series immortalized in all their soapy glory.
The season seven premiere of The Walking Dead airs Sunday at 9 p.m. Eastern on AMC.
