Cash and Property Seized in Connection with Floyd County RICO Case

According to reports, authorities have now seized approximately $1.7 million in goods, and almost a half-million dollars in cash, in connection with the RICO case involving an ex-Floyd County School System employee. 

According to Floyd County Police Officials, the amount allegedly taken by Derry Richardson and his associates totaled almost $4 million over a period of approximately 12 years.

Items seized were located in a number of warehouses in Floyd County and the Summerville home of Richardson. 

A total of ten individuals have been arrested in connection with that case.
