A Floyd County man has been arrested on cruelty to children charges.
According to jail reports, 44 year old Randy Lamar White of Cave Spring had allegedly used a leather belt to strike an eleven year old child multiple times – causing large bruises on the outer and inner thighs.
Police say there were additional bruises on the child’s arms.
White was charged with Cruelty to Children 1st Degree and Battery.
