On Friday investigators from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Leesburg Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 711 north of Cedar Bluff.
Officers recovered multiple firearms from the residence, including some stolen from Leesburg and South Carolina. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were also found in the residence.
45 year old Christopher A. Watson and 25 year old Amanda D. Watson both of Cedar Bluff were arrested and charged with first degree receiving stolen property, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center where they await bond.
