A Cherokee County man was arrested on a long-list of charges over the weekend.
According to information posted on the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website – a 53 year old Cedar Bluff resident, Danny Joe Elders was arrested late Sunday afternoon, and charged with Menacing, and Resisting Arrest, with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Fleeing/Attempting to Elude, in addition to Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree.
Elders was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly after 5:00pm, where he remains awaiting setting of bond.
