According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website, a 69 year old Cherokee County man has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of Rape 1st Degree and Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree – in addition to being charged with Sexual Abuse of a Child under the Age of 12.
Robert Marlin Shad of Cedar Bluff, was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center, just after 5:00pm Tuesday and his bond has been set at $150,000.
