During a recent “special called meeting” of the Centre City Council – the Council met for the purpose of paying the bills, which had not been done during the previous regular meeting.
That quickly being accomplished, Mayor Tony Wilkie encouraged the council members to pay a visit to the new Centre Police Department, which will be located on West Main Street, in the old Federal Building:
The additional funds will go toward the purchase of a new phone system and various other odds and ends needed to complete the renovation of the building.
It was also voted to change the Tuesday, November 25th meeting of the Centre City Council to Monday the 24th at 4:00pm at Centre City Hall – that due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
