A Cherokee County Alabama man is currently facing charges of Criminal Trespass and First Degree Burglary, in connection with an incident taking place in northwest Georgia around a year ago.
According to Floyd County jail records, 35 year old Thomas Eugene Smith, whose address is listed as County Road 69 in Centre, allegedly entered a residence on Old Dalton Road on the 14th of January last year (2016), taking several items – including a Go Pro camera, valued at $129.
The report also noted that a door was kicked in causing less than $500 in damage.
Smith has been in jail in Floyd County, Georgia, since last October, when he was arrested on a probation warrant.
