A Cherokee County man was recently arrested on drug charges in northwest Georgia – after being pulled over for a window tint violation.
According to arrest reports 30 year old Derek Eugene Chestnut of Centre was pulled over at the intersection of Callier Springs and East 12th Streets and furthermore during the stop an officer allegedly found a five ounce bag of marijuana in Chesnut’s possession.
In addition to a window tint violation, Chesnut reportedly faces purchase and possession of marijuana charges among others.
