According to Centre Chief of Police Kirk Blankenship the Centre Police Department worked ADECA overtime for the weekend of May 25th – and during that time – a number of arrests were made including one probation violation, one count of theft of property third degree, a count of promotion of prison contraband, four counts of unlawful possession of marijuana and seven counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, in addition to eight counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Over the course of the holiday weekend a total of 44 traffic citations were also issued in the City of Centre.
