Cherokee County Authorities Arrest Eight on Drug Charges Monday

Cherokee County authorities made several drug arrests on Monday.

Murray Lewis Kennedy, age 26 of Vestavia, Alabama; Cory Lane Dozier, age 21 of Hoover; and Cory Michael Onarheim, age 21 of Birmingham – were each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

All three were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center around 1:30pm and according to the Sheriff’s Office Official Website, bond has yet-to-be set.

Randell Kaleta Dolin, age 19; Miles Edward Burchardt, age 20; and Brent Joseph Champaign, age 21 all of Louisiana – were each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree.

All three were booked into the Detention Center at around 6:00pm with bond yet-to-be set.

And

Leigha Nikol Cook, age 22 of Gaylesville and Kayla Lindsey Shields, age 22 of Birmingham – were both charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Cook was booked in just after 7:00pm with bond set at $1,000 while Shields was booked into the Detention Center shortly after 1:00pm with bond yet-to-be set.
