Cherokee County authorities made five drug-related arrests on Thursday.

38 year old Barry Ray Garrett, 36 year old Amy Nicole Willard of Leesburg and Shawn Michael Galloway, age 35 of Section and Jamie Ray Bates, age 28 also from Section – were charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Samuel Cole Sims, age 22 of Leesburg, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Garrett and Willard were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center at around 4:00pm – while Galloway and Bates were booked in at around 10:00 that morning.

All four remain in the Detention Center awaiting setting of bond.

Sims was booked in at 5:00pm and released just after 7:30pm, after meeting his $1,000 bond.
