Cherokee County authorities arrested three people on drug charges overnight Tuesday.

Calvin Wade Bell, age 46 of Centre – was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Violation of the Prohibition Law and Carrying Brass Knuckles;

April Denise Hooper, age 30 and Janet Leighann Wigley, age 38, both from Centre – charged with three counts of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All three were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center during the early morning hours of Wednesday – where they remain awaiting setting of bond.
