1. Story Time Programs Summer Story Time 9:30-10:30, Tuesdays in June and July. After a break during the month of August, regular sessions will resume on

 

2. New Genealogy Classes start September 8th! Track down your family tree with Jessie Whittaker and Louise Wright in the library Genealogy Room. Sign-up and materials fee required; call or visit the library to sign up.

A computer class follows after a lunch break: anyone is welcome to bring a laptop and attend from 1:00-2:00.

 

3. Sew Joyful Quilting Circle Thursdays from 10:00—12:00.

 

  1. Cloud Farrow teaches Art Class Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Bring 2 #2 pencils and an 8 X 10 sketchbook.

 

5. Reading Around Book Club meets the first Tuesday of the month from 12:00—1:00

 

6. Low Vision group meets the third Tuesday of the month at 10:00.

September 16: Tabath Royal, State Rehab Worker

October 21:          Fall Trip

 

  1. Alabama Cherokee County Genealogical Society meets the 4th Tuesday of the month from 10:00 – 12:00.

 

8. Fine Free Week: The first seven days of each month are now “Fine Free Week”! Bring back your books in good condition, no matter how overdue, and no fines will be charged!

 

9. Brown Bag Lunch Series will resume September 18 from 12:00-1:00 with “Fiddlers, Banjo Players, and Straw Beaters” presented by Joyce Cauthen.
