The Cherokee County School Board has approved the purchase of additional property located on Old Highway 9 near the school in Cedar Bluff, the homes and land belong to the late Doris Pearson & Peggy Pearson .
The total amount of the purchase of the property of Peggy Pearson was in the amount of $73,500 and $90,000 for the purchase of the property from Doris Pearson.
Superintendent of Education Mitchell Guice –
In Personnel action taken by the board – Certified Transfer by agreement included Kasey Brown from 1st Grade Teacher at Cedar Bluff to Kindergarten Teacher at Cedar Bluff.
Certified Placements included, Dale James as Maintenance Supervisor effective July 1.
The Board also approved System Wide Travel items for the months of June and July.
