Cherokee County’s own Haley Highfield took the top prize, during the University of Montevallo trip to the Peach Belt Conference Tennis Championships on April 17th.

This was the first visit to the competition for the Lady Falcons – and Highfield won the “Highest Academic Achievement Award “Grades First” Elite 15 Peach Belt Conference Title.

She was also accepted that day, to the Speech Language Pathology Department, at the University of Montevallo.
