Approximately 70 people enjoyed breakfast in the clouds Thursday morning with Cherokee Rock Village hosting the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Breakfast for August.

Park Board Chairperson Leanne Hill shared with those gathered a brief history of Cherokee Rock Village and how things have changed:

And that’s not all…new events have been a big draw for the park, and extensive renovations are still to come:

Hill also mentioned plans to expand the RV camping area to include water and electricity as well as the creation of an observation deck near the park entrance, and addition of a hugely popular picnic area. 

Visitors from all across the U.S. and other countries, have traveled to Cherokee Rock Village to take advantage of its unique, spectacular features that can’t be found anywhere else.
