Chestnut Station Employee Reportedly Robbed at Gunpoint

Chestnut Station 2A popular Gadsden bar was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning.

According to reports, just after 5:00am – a black male armed with a handgun approached a Chestnut Station employee carrying a five gallon bucket through the courtyard outside the bar.

The bucket contained money in envelopes and bank bags.

The employee told investigators that the gunman reached inside the bucket, grabbed what he could, and then fled on foot. The suspect is described as being around five-ten (5’10”) – and was between the ages of 25 and 35.
