The DeKalb County Basketball Tournament scheduled for Friday night has been postponed and will be re-scheduled, possibly as early as Saturday depending upon the weather.

Tonight’s Etowah County basketball tournament finals at Gaston School have been moved to Saturday.

All Calhoun County government offices closing at 2pm

All Cherokee County government offices will close at 1pm

DeKalb County Commission offices and DeKalb County Courthouse will be closing at 1:00pm

Georgia closings (all times eastern):

Polk County School System will be letting students go at noon

St. Mary’s School in Rome will let out at 1pm and after school activities are cancelled

Georgia Northwestern Technical College will be closing all campuses at 12 noon. Any classes or activities planned after 12pm are cancelled.

ALL Georgia Highlands College campuses will close at noon

Chattooga County Schools closing at 12:30pm

Unity Christian is closing at 3:45pm. No after school care, practices or athletic activities. All Saturday activities cancelled.

Floyd County Schools:  All after school activities are canceled for today, including After School Care.
