Congressman Mike Rogers on Perils of “ObamaCare”

Congressman Mike Rogers has been hearing more and more from those concerned about an issue that affects each and every one of us – and that’s the Affordable Health Care Act

Rogers is seeking to clear up the many misconceptions surrounding the legislation, including one that the public has been focused on regarding their lawmakers; he assures everyone that everyone – including public officials – is subject to the plan and not, as some people believe – exempt.

He also shares his concerns over the impact that the legislation will have on business owners and as a result, those in their employ.

Congressman Rogers invites the citizens of Cherokee County to visit his mobile office and speak with one of his staff members to share their thoughts and opinions on any and all matters relating to their wellbeing.

His mobile office is open at Centre City Hall, on the first Wednesday of each month, from 9:00 – 11:00am. Caseworker Dana George is Rogers’ representative for Cherokee County.

Area residents may also visit his full-time district offices in either Anniston or Opelika with their concerns.
