Cowboys McClain Suspended Another Year

(Scott Clarke / ESPN Images)(DALLAS) — Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain has been suspended another year for missing another drug test, sources tell ESPN. This is in addition to the 10-game suspension that was scheduled to end on Monday.

McClain is likely to appeal the suspension, but there is doubt he will ever play in the NFL again. The 27-year-old’s original 10-game suspension was for a positive test for opiates.

McClain will be out at least until Nov. 2017 before being eligible for reinstatement. He has 407 combined tackles, two forced fumbles and four interceptions in his six-year career.
