DeKalb County authorities continue to investigate the death of a 36 year old Ft Payne man.

A 9-1-1 call was placed last Friday (April 14th), in regard to a “Domestic Violence” situation at a County Road 232 location on Lookout Mountain and when DeKalb County Deputies and Investigators, along with Alabama State Troopers arrived on the scene, they found the male subject – Alberto Pablo Felipe – unresponsive, lying face down in the road behind the home.

At that point a call was made to the DeKalb County Ambulance Service and moments later Coroner Tom Wilson arrived and he pronounced Felipe dead.  District Attorney Mike O’Dell was then notified and an autopsy was ordered to be conducted, with the body being sent to the Department of Forensic Science in Huntsville.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said that no additional information is being released at this time, citing the on-going investigation.
