Department Of Transportation Crews Say That Crews Will Continue Work On The Cedar Bluff Bridge Beginning Monday

CB BRIDGE 2

WEIS Radio News spoke to Mark Terry with the Alabama Department of Transportation on Friday afternoon who told us that crews will resume work painting the Cedar Bluff Bridge Monday and will work through Friday.

Terry said that crews will then take off Saturday, Sunday and Monday for the Labor Day Holiday and will resume work Tuesday through Saturday following the holiday – after which crews will work six days a week until the project is complete – Terry said that crews will work accordingly to accommodate school traffic.

Terry said that the crew in charge of the project is a Florida based company and is being overseen by ALDOT Supervisors who are continuously on site.

Crews will continue to minimize wait times and the Department of Transportation will be posting message boards which will scroll traffic information.
