Doug Minor Charged With Murder In Fort Payne

Preliminary pathologist reports have determined that the death of Bobbie Lynn Ross was blunt force trauma to the head.

In an interview on Tuesday with Investigators, 32 year old Doug Minor admitted that himself , Ross and 36 year old Norma Jo Grinnell had been on a 3 -4 day meth high.

After an argument occurred Minor admitted to striking both women.

On Wednesday District Attorney Mike O’Dell approved a Murder warrant on Doug Minor for the death of Bobbie Lynn Ross age 35 of Fort Payne.

Warrants was also issued on Minor for the assault and kidnapping of36 year old Norma Jo Grinnell of Fort Payne.

Sheriff Harris states “A lot of man hours from multiple agencies have been put into this case so far to bring it to this point. We are continuing to interview possible witnesses and collecting evidence.”
