Doyle Lee Weeks, Sr., 78 of Centre, passed away Wednesday July 27, 2016 in Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ted Elrod and Tommy Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Rome, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Lambert Weeks; son, Lee (Debbie) Weeks of Leesburg; daughters, Tammy (GW) Baine of Fort Payne, Tina Lindsey and Micky Weeks of Centre; sister, Joyce Jacobson of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Bo Keasler, Jake Lindsey, Blu Keasler, Lorelei Keasler, Carter Keasler; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Weeks was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Clifford and Myrtle Reece Weeks, was retired from Cherokee Electric Co-op and was a member of the Calcedonia Baptist Church.
