The driver of a Dodge Van escaped injury after rolling the vehicle on its side on Friday afternoon.
Cedar Bluff Firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the mishap just before 5:00 p.m. on Highway 9 North at the Intersection of County Road 691.
According to fire department reports the driver, Richard Perrone of a Kingston, Georgia address flipped his 2014 Dodge Promaster
Van when he swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle stopped in the roadway.
Perrone was fortunately uninjured and was out of the vehicle and walking around as emergency responders arrived on the scene.
Alabama State Troopers also responded to the scene.
