Driver in Calhoun County Crash Apparently Died of Medical Condition

Accident 9The investigation into a weekend traffic death has determined that the driver of the vehicle had died of a medical condition while driving – causing the crash.

Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to a report of a one-vehicle accident occurring on Alabama 21 north of Jacksonville at around 4:40pm Saturday. Upon arrival, they found the driver dead at the scene and Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown told the Anniston Star that he believed the driver had died of natural causes.

The name of the driver has yet to be released.
