Eight Individuals Arrested In Cherokee County On Various Drug Charges/Warrants

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators made eight arrests on Friday for drug charges and warrants, including the distribution of illegal drugs. Six of the arrests were made at a residence on County Road 635 in Gaylesville, including Martha E. Coleman, 63, Carey R. Popham, 45, Jonathan M. Nicholson, 30, and Jason L. Nicholson, 38, all of Gaylesville, were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Coleman was additionally charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Donnie R. Gossett, 43 of Piedmont, and Celeste N. Seaman, 26 of Piedmont, was also arrested at the Gaylesville residence and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. 

The other arrests were made on County Road 19 and County Road 14.  Randy D. Holcomb, 49, was taken into custody at a residence on County Road 19 and charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  Phillip Davis, 29 of Piedmont, was arrested on four felony warrants including bond revocations. 

All of the eight arrested were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
