Etowah County Authorities Arrest Two On Multiple Charges Following The Execution Of A Search Warrant In Gadsden

etowahcountydrugarrestheaderAccording to information contained in a news release from Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit Commander Phil Sims, on Thursday, Agents arrested two individuals involved in the distribution and trafficking of illegal drugs in Etowah County.  

The arrest took place after a search warrant was executed at 100 Gregory Ct in Gadsden, Al. During the search, trafficking weight ( 40 grams) of methamphetamine and heroin ( 8 grams)  were recovered.

Also, marijuana, cocaine, and three stolen handguns were recovered from the residence. These handguns were stolen from Etowah County, Huntsville City, and Fayetteville, Georgia.

Those arrested were, 40 year old Corion Leshon Moore of 100 Gregory Ct. Gadsden, Al.  Moore has multiple drug convictions in the past ranging from unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd to unlawful possessions of a controlled substance and carrying a concealed weapon.

Also arrested was 22 year old Khadijah Nashone Byers also of 100 Gregory Ct. Gadsden, AL.

Both are charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in heroin, unlawful possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine), and unlawful possession of marijuana 1st. In addition, Moore has also been charged with 2 counts of distribution of a controlled substance of methamphetamine and receiving stolen property.

They both remain in jail under a $200, 000 cash bond.
