A 38 year old Etowah County woman has been charged with Financial Exploitation of an Elderly Person, which is a Class B felony.
According to Investigator Bobby Bryant, Jennifer Nicole Rosson had allegedly been transferring money from the account of the individual she was acting as caretaker for – into her own personal checking account, and afterwards withdrawing that amount.
The amount was reportedly in excess of $2,500.
Rosson was placed under arrest and taken to the Etowah County Detention Center where she was booked in on $5,000 property bond.
