Eugene Coley “Gene” Bearden, age 83 of Centre, passed away on Monday, April 26th at his residence.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Wednesday, April 27th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Blane Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include: Tom Pierce, Chuck Birchfield, James Grimes, Donnie Walker, Anthony Wood,Dub Haggard.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tom Bailey, Johnny Angle, Dennis Tierce.
Survivors include wife, Martha Floyd Bearden; son Jason (Angie) Bearden; 2 grandchildren, Matt Bearden and Mason Bearden; nephew, Richard Bearden; niece, Doris Ann Lane.
Mr. Bearden was a native of Jefferson County, the son of the late Henry Clay and Lottie Jane Coley Bearden, was a brick mason and was of the Baptist faith.
Memorials may be made to Pilgrims Rest Church or the family will accept flowers.
