Ex Missionary to Spend Life in Prison without Parole for Sex Crimes Against a Child

YarbroughA 34 year old former missionary will be spending the remainder of his life behind bars after being found guilty of sex crimes against a child.

Emmanuel Lee Yarbrough was found guilty in August on charges of Sodomy 1st Degree and Sexual Abuse 1st Degree.

He was sentenced Monday of this week to a term of life in prison without parole by Calhoun County Circuit Judge Debra Jones.

Yarbrough had been arrested February of last year (2014) – after police were informed that he had sexual contact with a girl less than six years of age.

Investigators believe incidents happened at a home in Oxford, a hotel in Indiana, and also in Thailand during a missionary trip.
