One person is dead of an apparent gunshot wound off of Highway 411 in the Hebron Community east Centre.
Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Coroner’s Office responded to the residence on County Road 653 at around 2 this afternoon.
According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, the man was found with what appears to be a self-inflicted gun-shot wound.
Cherokee County Deputy Coroner Carl Brown pronounced the man dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing, and more information will be released at a later date.
