FBI Reportedly Tracks Down Caller Who Made Bomb Threat to Northwest Georgia School

Authorities believe they now know who made the call that resulted in the evacuation of the Trion City School System in Chattooga County, Georgia on Monday of this week.

Trion City School Superintendent Phil Williams says the FBI has tracked down that call and is accusing a 13 year old juvenile in Pennsylvania of making the threat.

Just before 8:00am Monday, two messages were left at Trion City Schools saying that there was a bomb at the campus.

All 1,440 students at Trion City Schools were immediately evacuated from the area.

Superintendent Williams says he wants to see a stiff punishment for that person who made the call.

It’s unclear why the Trion City School System was targeted, and whether or not it was just a random choice by the suspect.
