Felissa Jane Morgan, age 50 of Sand Rock, passed away Thursday, October 13th at UAB. Funeral services will be 3:PM Saturday, October 15th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Scott Hosey officiating; burial will follow in Sand Rock Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:30 PM Saturday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Rob Brown, Tony O’Neal, Chris King, Colton Ruple, Brandon Hays, Landon Marks, Andrew Tarver, Lance Kitchens.

Survivors include her husband, Micky Morgan; son, Justin (Jessica) Whaley of Sand Rock; daughters, Cassidy Whaley of Sand Rock, Jennifer Sanford of Fayette, Emily Taylor of Tuscaloosa; Mother, Janice Reagan McKinney of Sand Rock; sister, Jenna (Chris) King of Centre; grandchildren, Carter Sanford, Cooper Sanford, Addison Sanford, Jake Taylor; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews; special niece, Kopeland King.

Mrs. Morgan was a native of Dekalb county, the daughter of the late Jimmy Cox, she was an Administrative Assistant for the Cherokee County Extention Office and was a member of Sand Rock Baptist Church.
