First Things First – Man Arrested After Failing to Turn Himself In

Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office Deputies recently went looking for Barry Ladon Roach – who had been sentenced to a prison term of 10 years, after pleading guilty last month, to possession of meth with the intent to distribute and other charges.

He was reportedly allowed to stay at home until a prison bed became available and when one did – he failed to show up.

According to the Summerville News, Deputy Jason Burrage stated that, as he pulled into Roach’s driveway, he observed the subject coming out from the back of the residence, running toward the rear of the property with a Bud Light in his hand.

Roach stopped when ordered to do so – and told the deputy that he knew he had a warrant – BUT he wanted to go to his son’s football game that night – and he was planning on turning himself in the next day.
